Job summary

Tile America Brookfield Branch is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the showroom and warehouse, driving customer satisfaction and staff performance. You will balance sales-driven culture with tight, safe logistics, ensuring profitability and growth for the Brookfield location.

You will recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team while building strong relationships with contractors, builders, designers, and retail customers to champion our mission in Connecticut.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in retail/showroom or high-volume environments.
• Industry knowledge in tile, stone, design, or building materials preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand financial metrics (P&L) and align daily actions with vision.
• Tech-savvy with computer systems and POS software.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Sales & Service culture: inspire and hold the team to high service and sales standards.
• Empower & develop talent: recruit, onboard, and coach branch staff.
• Cultivate lasting relationships with local contractors, builders, designers, and clients.
• Make strategic branch decisions on product mix, pricing, and credit terms.
• Maintain inventory, returns, scheduling, and a welcoming showroom environment.
• Oversee safety, maintenance, and ensure operations run smoothly.
• Lead by example by working on floor or in warehouse when needed.
