Job summary

Florida Tile is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to lead daily operations, inventory control, and customer service at the Chicago branch. You will drive sales activities, maintain inventory accuracy, and enforce policies across logistics, purchasing, and cash handling.

The role collaborates with the Branch Manager to meet financial goals, ensure safety compliance, and train staff in forklift and SAP systems. A proactive, detail-oriented candidate with operational experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational/logistical roles is a plus.
• Ability to meet deadlines with little supervision.
• Flooring or tile industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales functions including developing and growing walk-in customer relationships.
• Manage inventory with cycle counts, accuracy, and physical inventories.
• Coordinate logistics including freight policies and payments.
• Ensure customer service accuracy in order entry, invoicing, and pricing.
• Maintain OSHA files and safety programs for the branch.
• Oversee purchasing, backorders, and vendor credits.
• Handle cash receipts, deposits, and petty cash.
• Support payroll reporting and HR administration.
• Provide SAP training and support as needed.
• Assist Branch Manager in financial and operational performance reviews.
