Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in tile installation or a closely related field.
• Working knowledge of tile layout, measuring, cutting, installation, grouting, surface preparation, and waterproofing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, measurements, and specifications.
• Experience using and supervising the safe operation of tile saws, cutting tools, hand tools, and power tools.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise employees and maintain production schedules and quality standards.
• Experience providing employee coaching, performance feedback, and corrective guidance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities within the Utility Tile Department.
• Oversee tile installation, surface preparation, waterproofing, grouting, and related finishing work.
• Ensure layouts, measurements, cuts, and installations meet specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Production Management, Quality Control, Maintenance and Safety to maintain workflow.
• Provide daily leadership, direction, and coaching to department employees.
• Identify and resolve production delays and material shortages.
