Job summary

KIT Custom HomeBuilders in Caldwell, ID seeks an experienced, hands-on Production Supervisor for the Utility Tile Department. You will lead a tile team, oversee installation, surface prep, waterproofing, grouting, and ensure quality finishes on manufactured homes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in tile installation, residential construction, or a closely related field.
• Working knowledge of tile layout, measuring, cutting, installation, grouting, surface preparation, and waterproofing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, measurements, and specifications.
• Experience using and supervising the safe operation of tile saws, cutting tools, hand tools, and power tools.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise employees and maintain production schedules and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities within the Utility Tile Department.
• Oversee tile installation, surface preparation, waterproofing, grouting, and related finishing work.
• Ensure tile layouts, measurements, cuts, and installations meet company specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor daily production schedules, output expectations, and department productivity.
• Coordinate with Safety and Maintenance for equipment repairs and safety compliance.
• Provide guidance and coaching to department employees to maintain high performance.
