KIT Custom HomeBuilders seeks an experienced Production Supervisor for the Drywall Tape & Texture Department in Caldwell, ID. The role leads a hands-on team responsible for finishing drywall walls and ceilings on our manufactured housing line, ensuring quality, safety, and timely production.

The ideal candidate has strong drywall finishing skills, prior supervision, and the ability to work on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing, production, drywall finishing, or construction.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in drywall taping, mudding, texturing, and finishing.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the Drywall Tape & Texture Department.
• Oversee first‑and‑second‑coat taping, mudding, drywall finishing, and texture application.
• Ensure drywall walls and ceilings are properly prepared and finished according to production specifications.
• Monitor daily production schedules, department output, and productivity expectations.
• Assign work, establish priorities, and coordinate staffing to meet production demands.
• Ensure employees have the necessary materials, tools, equipment, and direction to complete assigned work.
• Identify and resolve production delays, material shortages, workflow issues, and equipment concerns.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain efficient production flow.
• Assist with hands‑on drywall finishing and production activities when operationally necessary.
