Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a store leader to drive sales, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and uphold company guidelines for service and training. You will oversee merchandising, pricing, inventory, and store operations while modeling strong leadership at peak periods.

You will manage scheduling, coaching, and development of associates, ensuring safety and high standards across all areas. This role demands initiative and a proven track record in retail management.

Qualifications

• Three to five years retail management experience.
• Ability to manage a high-volume, highly complex location.
• Demonstrated initiative and self-starter attitude.
• Proven recruiting, hiring, and training skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical abilities.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with urgency.
• Demonstrated ability to increase the company’s market share.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Drive, teach and adhere to the P’s of retail including People, Product, Price, Purchasing, Position, Presentation, Promotion and Pro Services.
• Engage customers and deliver a quality shopping experience while ensuring staff deliver quality service.
• Strategically merchandize following company guidelines to outline merchandising practices.
• Maintain store presentation standards and ensure safety and loss prevention guidelines.
• Support Chief Executive Merchant in creating a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable environment.
• Perform duties as KCM or Manager on Duty as required.
• Conduct weekly competitive shops and communicate pricing/inventory issues.
