Qualifications

• Three to five years retail management experience and proven ability direct operations.
• Ability to perform in a high volume, highly complex location.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter.
• Demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, hiring, and training associates.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing a fast-paced environment adapting to change with a sense of urgency.
• Demonstrated ability to increase the company’s overall market share.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Drive and model customer service excellence per company guidelines.
• Engage customers to ensure a quality shopping experience and service by associates.
• Strategically merchandise to meet merchandising guidelines.
• Ensure store presentation standards and loss prevention practices.
• Support the Chief Executive Merchant in delivering friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Work as Key Customer Manager or Manager on Duty as required.
• Conduct weekly competitive shops and communicate pricing/inventory issues.
• Analyze business reports for best merchandising and pricing position.
• Maintain inventory via POS systems and manage shipping/receiving.
• Ensure brand and operating standards meet expectations.
• Interface with corporate headquarters.
