Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver an exceptional customer shopping experience. You will supervise associates, train staff, manage merchandising, pricing, and inventory while maintaining brand and safety standards.

Open to open/close shifts and lead in a high-volume environment. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of retail management, strong communication and analytical skills, and a track record of coaching teams to achieve budgets.

Qualifications

• Three to five years retail management experience
• Ability to perform in a high volume, highly complex location
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to recruit, hire, and train associates
• Experience in training, supervising and workload definition

Responsibilities

• Drive, teach and adhere to the P’s of retail to include People, Product, Price, Purchasing, Position, Presentation, Promotion and Pro Services
• Engage customers and provide a quality shopping experience, and ensure store associates provide quality customer service
• Strategically merchandize and utilize guidelines for merchandising
• Ensure store presentation standards are achieved and maintained; safeguard customers and employees via loss prevention
• Support the Chief Executive Merchant by modeling a customer-service focused environment
• Work as KCM or Manager on Duty as required
• Conduct weekly competitive shops
• Communicate pricing/inventory issues to the senior team
• Analyze business reports and maintain inventory, pricing and profitability
• Use POS systems to manage inventory, cycle counts and P&L
• Ensure brand and operating standards meet expectations and interface with corporate
• Open/close the store as needed
• Manage store hours and responsibilities
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise associates
• Control scheduling, payroll and business planning processes
• Monitor associate retention and career development
