MKS Instruments in Colorado is seeking a Welder 2 to join the Welding department, reporting to the Welding Supervisor. You will fabricate products and work with Engineering and Quality Control.

Responsibilities include welding to customer specs, reading complex drawings, and collaborating on custom designs. The role offers two shift options and a clear path to contribute to production.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience required.
• Requires TIG welding experience, ability to utilize complicated drawings and specifications, advanced mathematics, a variety of precision measuring instruments and trade knowledge equivalent to training in a formal apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom products and modify to customer specifications.
• Plan, lay out and perform welding on stainless-steel valves, gauges and other components.
• Works with engineers in custom product design for production.
• Completes fabrication and assembly welding from blueprints, verbal and written instructions.
• Modify standard valves and components per application and engineering specifications.
