Job summary

MKS is hiring a Welder 2 to join the Welding department in a manufacturing setting. You will fabricate and modify stainless-steel valves and gauges, work from blueprints and instructions, and collaborate with engineering on production-ready designs.

Expect to work 10-hour or 8-hour shifts, with training on the first shift. Candidates should have TIG welding experience, strong layout skills, and the ability to read and interpret complex drawings.

Qualifications

• Requires TIG welding experience and ability to read complex drawings.
• 2+ years of related welding experience required.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments and trade knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom products and modify components per specifications.
• Plan and perform welding on stainless-steel valves, gauges and related parts.
• Collaborate with engineers on design for production.
• Assemble and weld from blueprints and instructions.
• Adhere to safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
