Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. in Colorado is seeking a Welder 2 to join the Welding department. You will partner with Engineering and Quality to fabricate various MKS products and report to the Welding Supervisor.

The role requires 2+ years of welding experience with TIG, ability to read complex drawings, and use precision measuring tools. Training will occur on first shift before moving to the secondary shift. This position emphasizes safety in a manufacturing environment and offers comprehensive

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding experience required.
• Proficient in TIG welding and reading complex drawings.
• Able to use precision measuring instruments and perform calculations.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom products and modify to customer specs.
• Plan, lay out and weld stainless-steel valves, gauges, and other components.
• Collaborate with engineers on custom product design.
• Complete fabrication and assembly welding from blueprints and instructions.
• Modify standard valves per engineering specs.
• Work second shift: 4x10 or 5x8; training on first shift.
