Job summary

MKS Inc. in Colorado is seeking a Welder 2 to join the Welding department and collaborate with Engineering and Quality Control to fabricate our products. You will report to the Welding Supervisor.

The role requires TIG welding experience, ability to read complex drawings, and precise measurement. You will work second shift either 4x10 or 5x8, with three weeks of training on first shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding experience required.
• Proficient in TIG welding, reading complex drawings and specifications.
• Strong math aptitude and experience with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom products and modify components to customer specs.
• Plan, lay out, and weld stainless-steel valves, gauges, and components.
• Collaborate with engineers on custom product design for production.
• Complete fabrication and assembly welding from blueprints and instructions.
• Modify valves per application and engineering specifications.
• Work second shift with training on first shift.
