Job summary

Super Radiator Coils is seeking skilled TIG welders to translate blueprints into precise assemblies for coils and heat exchangers. You will lay out welds, set up jigs, and perform high-quality TIG welds on stainless and carbon steel, while maintaining safety and product standards.

Qualifications

• Read and follow detailed instructions and engineering drawings.
• Operate production machinery and hand/power tools.
• Measure accurately with a tape measure.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma/GED/Certificate is required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of proper PPE.
• Associate degree in Welding preferred; prior manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate blueprints and work orders into accurate assemblies that meet spec.
• Lay out and mark weld locations using rules, squares, templates, and scribes.
• Set up jigs, fixtures, guides, and stops with exacting alignment.
• Execute TIG welds on stainless and carbon steel from 1/16" to 1/2" thickness.
• Diagnose and rework welds that don’t meet criteria.
• Safely remove and handle completed parts using appropriate hand tools.
• Prep materials by grinding, cutting, and drilling to ensure optimal fit-up.
• Model safety-first behavior and adhere to quality standards and company policies.
