Job summary

Belcan in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a skilled welder for 2nd shift to fabricate/repair stainless steel parts using TIG welding and standard processes. Position requires reading drawings and adhering to quality requirements under supervision.

Responsibilities include welding to tolerances, documenting parts, maintaining tools and work area, and pursuing additional certifications in stainless steels and Inconel. Shift is 2nd, Mon-Fri, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years welding experience including TIG for stainless, Inconel, titanium.
• AWS D17.1 certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Able to read and interpret drawings, weld symbols, procedures and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding using approved techniques to engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret product drawings and weld symbols.
• Adjust process within limits to achieve conformance.
• Document and log parts and maintain paperwork.
• Inspect and process all work per requirements.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety rules.
• Acquire and maintain stainless steel and Inconel qualifications.
