Job summary

Super Radiator Coils is seeking a TIG Welding Fabricator for the second shift (2:30 pm–1:00 am, Mon–Thu) with a $1/hour differential. You will read blueprints, lay out welds, and perform high-quality TIG welds on stainless and carbon steel to exact specifications.

Qualifications

• Read and follow detailed instructions and blueprints.
• Operate shop machinery and use common hand tools.
• Measure with tape to exact specs.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Adhere to PPE and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders and blueprints to assemble parts to exact specifications.
• Lay out weld locations and positions using rules and templates.
• Set and secure jigs and fixtures with precision measuring tools.
• Perform TIG welds on stainless and carbon steel from 1/16 in. to 1/2 in.
• Troubleshoot and rework nonconforming welds to meet quality standards.
• Prepare materials by grinding, cutting, drilling as needed for clean joins.

Job description

Step into Precision: Your Day as a TIG Welding Fabricator

You’ll work a steady second shift—Monday through Thursday, 2:30 pm to 1:00 am—with a $1.00/hour shift differential. In this role, you’ll bring engineered drawings to life, assembling and welding components that power heat exchangers used around the world.

What your day looks like

• Interpret work orders and blueprints to assemble parts to exact specifications.
• Lay out weld locations and component positions using rules, squares, templates, and scribes.
• Set and secure jigs, fixtures, guides, and stops with precision measuring tools and hand tools.
• Perform high-quality TIG welds on stainless and carbon steel in the 1/16 in. to 1/2 in. range.
• Troubleshoot and rework nonconforming welds to meet quality standards.
• Remove finished parts from equipment and stage them safely using appropriate tools.
• Prep materials—grinding, cutting, drilling—as needed for clean, accurate joins.
• Champion safety, quality, and all company procedures in everything you do.

Depending on your strengths, you may also contribute across production functions—machine operation, assembly, brazing, crating, tube fabrication, or material handling.

What you bring

• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and complex blueprints.
• Hands-on skill operating shop machinery and common tools.
• Competence using a tape measure for accurate measurements.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Working knowledge of PPE and safe work practices.

Preferred: Associate degree in Welding and prior manufacturing experience.
