Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Tig Welder role based in Greenville, SC. The Tig Welder will perform high-precision welding on a variety of metals and components, ensuring welds meet strict aerospace, energy, and automotive specifications. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and setting up materials, reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, and performing TIG welding operations to tight tolerances. The role involves inspecting welds for quality and accuracy, performing basic finishing and grinding, and collaborating with machinists, fabricators, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes. The Tig Welder will also maintain equipment, follow safety and quality procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement in production.

Qualifications

• Strong TIG welding skills with experience in precision welding on metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols, and work to tight tolerances.
• Proficiency in weld inspection, basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers), and adherence to quality standards.
• Knowledge of shop safety practices, equipment maintenance, and safe handling of tools and materials.
• Experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment; exposure to CNC machining or fabrication is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to stand, bend, and lift materials as needed throughout the shift.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant welding certification or technical training preferred; prior experience in aerospace, energy, or automotive manufacturing is a plus.
