Metraflex is seeking a full-time TIG Welder to fabricate and weld piping components on-site in Chicago. You will set up welding equipment, prepare materials, and perform precision welds per drawings, while ensuring safety and quality standards.
You will work with production and engineering teams to meet project specifications and maintain equipment for continuous improvement. The role requires strong TIG welding skills, blueprints interpretation, and adherence to PPE and safety procedures.

This is a full-time, on-site TIG Welder role. The TIG Welder will fabricate and weld components for piping specialty products, following blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to meet quality and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include setting up TIG welding equipment, preparing materials, performing precision welds on various metals, and inspecting finished welds for defects or inconsistencies. The role involves working closely with production and engineering teams to meet project specifications, maintain equipment, and support continuous improvement in welding processes. The TIG Welder is expected to follow all safety procedures, keep a clean and organized work area, and complete documentation related to production and quality checks.
