Qualifications

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site TIG Welder role. The TIG Welder will fabricate and weld components for piping specialty products, following blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to meet quality and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include setting up TIG welding equipment, preparing materials, performing precision welds on various metals, and inspecting finished welds for defects or inconsistencies. The role involves working closely with production and engineering teams to meet project specifications, maintain equipment, and support continuous improvement in welding processes. The TIG Welder is expected to follow all safety procedures, keep a clean and organized work area, and complete documentation related to production and quality checks.

Qualifications
  • Strong TIG welding skills, including experience with stainless steel and other metals commonly used in piping systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of welding safety practices, proper use of PPE, and safe operation of welding and cutting equipment.
  • Experience with fabrication tasks such as measuring, cutting, fitting, grinding, and finishing metal components.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection of welds, including visual inspection and basic measurement tools (e.g., calipers, gauges).
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as required, and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in industrial or HVAC-related fabrication or welding is preferred.
  • Welding certification or vocational training in welding or metal fabrication is beneficial.
