Job summary

AMS Impact Group in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a Tier 2 IT Support Technician to provide advanced technical support across Windows, ChromeOS, iOS and Android devices, networks, and collaboration platforms. You will escalate, diagnose, and resolve complex incidents while guiding Tier 1 staff and maintaining thorough documentation.

Hybrid work arrangement with three days in-office and two remote days; engage across multiple AMS locations and collaborate with central IT on deployments and security

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible IT support experience.
• Experience resolving escalated hardware, software, identity, access, printing, and network issues.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and ChromeOS; working knowledge of iOS and Android.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace and end-user support.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, VLANs and common troubleshooting tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary escalation resource for Tier 1 technicians; resolve complex incidents.
• Support AIG employees, AMS staff, school leaders, and authorized users.
• Troubleshoot Windows, ChromeOS, iOS and Android devices and classroom tech.
• Investigate OS, application, hardware, authentication, and network issues to identify root causes.
• Use remote tools and on-site diagnostics to resolve incidents and verify restoration.
