Job summary

Rochester Electronics, LLC is seeking a proactive Tier 2 IT Support technician for the Newburyport campus, with some onsite work at Portsmouth. You will handle complex inquiries, troubleshoot issues, deploy PCs with SmartDeploy, and support printers and room equipment.

The role requires a 3+ year Service Desk background, Windows/AD proficiency, and awareness of networking. You’ll document resolutions, assist with new-hire tech orientations, and collaborate across the IT team.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science degree in a technical field or equivalent training.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Service Desk Support with formal ticketing and SLA metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Active Directory; basic networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 technical support for onsite and remote employees; resolve escalated issues.
• Configure and deploy PCs using SmartDeploy and Intune; set up printers and conference room equipment.
• Document troubleshooting steps and create KB articles; monitor and update tickets with end-user progress.
