Job summary

Dark Wolf seeks a motivated Tier 2 IT Support Engineer to join our internal IT group in Herndon, VA. You will be the escalation point for complex issues across corporate networks, cloud services, identity management, and end-user support, helping maintain secure, highly available systems.

The ideal candidate brings 2–5 years in corporate IT, strong Windows, macOS, Linux skills, experience with Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, basic AWS/Azure, and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years in a corporate IT support, help desk, system administration, or network ops role.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 11, macOS and Linux.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace; basic AWS/Azure troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, firewall rules.
• Ability to research, test, and implement complex solutions.
• Excellent customer service and communication with internal stakeholders.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve advanced hardware, software, network, and cloud access issues escalated from Tier 1.
• Monitor and maintain core internal networking and cloud infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPNs, switches, routers, Wi‑Fi).
• Deploy, patch, and secure endpoints (Windows, macOS, Linux) using MDM and EDR solutions.
• Create, update, and maintain internal knowledge base articles, SOPs, and automation scripts.
• Collaborate with security, DevOps, and engineering teams to ensure assets meet security policies and zero-trust guidelines.
