Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions in Herndon, VA is seeking a motivated Tier 2 IT Support Engineer to escalate and resolve complex issues across corporate networks, cloud environments, identity management, and end-user support. You will deploy patches, manage endpoints (Windows, macOS, Linux), monitor LAN/WAN, VPNs, and contribute to SOPs and knowledge bases while collaborating with security, DevOps, and engineering teams.

US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in corporate IT support, help desk, system admin, or network operations.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11, macOS, Linux.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace; basic cloud troubleshooting.
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, firewall rules).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, network, and cloud access issues escalated from Tier 1.
• Monitor and maintain core internal networking and cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy, patch, and secure endpoints (Windows/macOS/Linux) using MDM and EDR.
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles and SOPs; automate routine tasks.
• Collaborate with security, DevOps, and engineering teams to ensure policy compliance.
