Job summary

Dexian is seeking a Tier 2-PC Support Technician for an on-site contract in Tallahassee, FL. You will configure and install software on desktops and laptops, roll out new software packages, and maintain hardware across the user base.

You will provide Tier 2 support and escalate to Tier 3 as needed, documenting resolutions and training end users. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or 4 years of related experience, plus 2+ years in Tier 2 desktop support, with Windows OS, Office,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
Two or more years of Tier 2 desktop support experience.
Experience installing/troubleshooting desktop OS, Office, Outlook, and IE.

Responsibilities

Configure and install software for IT user desktops and laptops.
Perform software installations and rollout of new software packages and upgrades.
Maintain desktop software and hardware.
Provide Tier 2 support to IT users for basic software and hardware.
Troubleshoot problems using scripts and checklists as guides.
Escalate to Tier 3 support when needed.
Document problems and resolutions.
Provide end-user training, as required.
Offer quality customer service.
Participate in testing of new desktop packages and vendor prototypes.
