Job summary

The Nashville Symphony Association seeks a Part-Time Seasonal Customer Service Agent to support Box Office operations, processing ticketing transactions in Tessitura CRM and handling phone and email inquiries. You will work closely with the Director of Ticketing and Customer Service to educate customers and drive ticket sales.

This role requires day shifts, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering warm, professional service to patrons, donors, and guests at the Schermerhorn

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of customer service.
• Ability to stay organized and multi-task.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Daytime Monday–Friday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide daytime Box Office support for all incoming and outgoing customer service needs.
• Handle inbound phone queue and follow up on voicemails left by customers.
• Monitor and respond to customer emails sent to the Box Office inbox.
• Process ticket orders and exchanges for all events held at the Nashville Symphony Center.
• Educate customers on event content and sales products.
• Maintain high levels of customer service with a positive attitude.
• Represent the Symphony’s brand with warmth, compassion, and professionalism.
• Identify challenges and resolve potential conflicts.
