Job Title: Ticketing and Events Specialist

Location: ONSITE, OKC OK

Employment Status: Full Time hourly non exempt

Position Summary

The Ticketing and Events Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Museum’s Ticketing database. This role supports multi-venue ticketing and provides training, assistance, and support to all users of our Tessitura database, many with competing priorities. The person in this role will work closely with database administration, technical support, and troubleshooting teams. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential to train, share knowledge, and articulate technical details clearly for users with non-technical backgrounds.

This position requires a detail-oriented, highly organized team player with excellent interpersonal skills. The right candidate will have a friendly and positive approach, be motivated by solving difficult problems, and enabling others to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as an expert resource for Tessitura and related applications, troubleshooting issues and ensuring proper functionality with websites.
  • Research and assess the feasibility of technical requirements for projects and customizations.
  • Lead Tessitura setup for facilities, products, and events, including pricing, rules, promotions, fees, and allocations.
  • Create and maintain system, training, and change management documentation.
  • Develop and facilitate training sessions (in-person & video conference), including user onboarding.
  • Provide support outside normal business hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Engage with the Tessitura community to share best practices and ideas.
  • Collaborate effectively with organizations, team members, vendors, and stakeholders, and work independently.
  • Manage OTA sites to ensure products are listed and priced correctly with approved discounts.
  • Manage multiple priorities, projects, tasks, and help desk tickets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Knowledge
  • High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
Skills / Core Competencies
  • 2-3 years’ experience with Tessitura or similar software preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong time management.
