Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations on high-profile TI/interiors projects in Austin, with potential manufacturing and industrial work. You will own safety, schedule, and on-site coordination with the PM team, subcontractors, and clients.

The role demands experience with commercial interiors, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of relevant experience as a Superintendent for a commercial general contractor.
• Experience with high-profile interior tenant improvements and/or commercial interiors; ground-up, manufacturing, or industrial experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
• Strong verbal and written communication with owners, architects, landlords, and trades.
• Proficient with field technology platforms (PlanGrid or similar).

Responsibilities

• Work on-site with the project management team as the field lead.
• Participate in preconstruction.
• Own jobsite safety and enforce safety standards with crews and subcontractors.
• Manage day-to-day field operations and subcontractor coordination on TI/interiors and, as assigned, manufacturing/industrial work.
• Build and maintain the construction schedule.
• Attend weekly Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings.
• Lead and attend site/foreman meetings.
• Coordinate closely with the client, architect, and landlord (and plant/ops stakeholders on industrial work).
• Read drawings, drive quality in the field, and keep documentation current.
• Operate independently in a fast-paced environment with limited direction from senior leadership.
