Job summary

Gordon Highlander is seeking a Superintendent to lead Tenant Improvement field operations in the Austin market. The role requires strong TI project experience, coordination of subcontractors, schedules, safety, and client communication.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and collaborative, with a proven track record in managing complex, occupied-site TI projects and delivering high-quality results for clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial TI field supervision.
• Experience with light industrial, distribution centers or similar TI projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities from mobilization to closeout.
• Manage TI projects to meet safety, schedule, and quality goals.
• Develop and communicate project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Oversee site logistics and sequencing in occupied or schedule-sensitive environments.
• Identify and resolve field issues to protect the schedule and client relationship.
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports and punch lists.
• Communicate project status and risks to clients and internal teams.
