Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Superintendent for Tenant Improvement/Interiors in Austin, TX. You will lead field operations, enforce safety standards, and coordinate with owners, architects, and subcontractors to deliver high-end TI/interiors projects.

The role requires experience as a superintendent for a commercial GC, strong communication skills, and the ability to read drawings and manage schedules in a fast-paced environment. On-site work with a collaborative team is expected.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Superintendent for a commercial general contractor.
• Experience with high-profile interior tenant improvements and/or commercial interiors; ground-up, manufacturing, or industrial experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
• Strong verbal and written communication with owners, architects, landlords, and trades.
• Ability to email professionally, build schedules, and read construction drawings.
• Comfort with field technology platforms (PlanGrid or similar).
• OSHA 30 desired (employer will assist with certification).
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site with the project management team as the field lead.
• Participate in preconstruction.
• Own jobsite safety and enforce safety standards with crews and subcontractors.
• Manage day-to-day field operations and subcontractor coordination on TI/interiors and, as assigned, manufacturing/industrial work.
• Build and maintain the construction schedule.
• Attend weekly Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings.
• Lead and attend site / foreman meetings.
• Coordinate closely with the client, architect, and landlord (and plant/ops stakeholders on industrial work).
• Read drawings, drive quality in the field, and keep documentation current.
• Operate independently in a fast-paced environment with limited direction from senior leadership.
