Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in California is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead the Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business in the assigned U.S. region. You will report to an Area VP and drive sales and profit objectives while coordinating multiple sales teams.

The role emphasizes talent management, cross-functional collaboration, budget oversight, and forecasting. A bachelor's degree and leadership experience in regional operations are required, with preferred cardiovascular experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in related field plus related experience in operations management at regional level or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria.
• Demonstrated track record in people management or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and executing specific objectives of the Sales Strategy.
• Establishing sales targets, managing budget, and inventory.
• Talent management responsibilities: hiring, retaining and developing talent, developing succession plans and proactively managing performance.
• Collaborating with Operations, Finance, Marketing, HR, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Affairs.
• Providing oversight of site performance and outcomes.
• Planning and preparing forecasts by account, product and therapy for the given territory; proposing expenses for meetings and activities.
• Facilitating flow of information from field into Business Development, Marketing and R&D.
• Collaborating with Marketing and Professional Education to develop value-added strategies, tools, programs and services.
• Maintaining knowledge of competitive strategies, product pipeline, healthcare economics, regulatory activities and incorporating into regional plans.
• Managing and adhering to T&E budget, inventory, and other variable expenses such as sponsorships, grants and COEs.
