Job summary

The Salvation Army Stockton Thrift Store in Stockton, CA is seeking a Sales Associate/Merchandise Handler to join our on-site team. This part-time position offers a $16.90 per hour pay rate and the opportunity to help customers, donors, and our ARC program while upholding TSA standards.

You will greet customers, stock items, sort donations, and maintain a clean, organized store environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, and a background check will be conducted in accordance with TSA

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Must be able to operate POS/Cash Register.
• Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors and provide prompt, courteous assistance.
• Stock priced items and merchandise on the sales floor.
• Sort donations for processing.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization per TSA standards.
