Job summary

The Salvation Army ARC Stockton is hiring a Stocking Associate/Material Handler at our Stockton Thrift Store. This part-time, on-site role pays $16.90 per hour in Stockton, CA. You will greet customers and donors, process donations, stock the floor, and keep the store clean and organized.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, can operate a POS system, and passes a background check. This role supports the mission to Do The Most Good through friendly service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate POS/Cash Register.
• Must pass background check incl. Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow employees, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors and provide prompt, courteous assistance.
• Stock priced items for sale on the floor.
• Sort donations according to standards.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization; perform cleaning tasks.
