Job summary

The Salvation Army Lodi Thrift Store is seeking a part-time Sales Associate/Material Handler to join our Retail Team in Lodi, CA. You will assist donors and customers, stock and stage items for sale, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to operate a POS, and passing a routine background check. This role offers the chance to contribute to the organizational mission while supporting the local ARC program.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Must be able to operate POS/Cash Register.
• Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors with prompt, courteous assistance.
• Stock priced items for sale on the sales floor per standards.
• Sort donations for processing and display.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization; perform cleaning duties as assigned.
• Keep windows clean, dust surfaces, and manage cashwrap area.
• Assist in stockroom and donation trailer areas; support safety policies.
