Job summary

Red White & Blue Thrift seeks a General Manager to drive store profitability, sales, and customer experience in a fast-paced environment. You will lead the store team, manage production quotas, and implement company initiatives to achieve key metrics while coaching and developing the Production and Retail Managers.

You will oversee merchandising productivity, backroom operations, and compliance with payroll, HRIS, and safety standards, while ensuring a high-quality shopping experience for donors

Qualifications

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• High-level of computer proficiency (MS Office, Teams, Outlook, and HRIS).
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous thrift, retail, warehouse, or customer facing experience is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the store's Profit and Loss (P&L) statement and drive top-line sales and profitability.
• Ensure efficient operations and meet production quotas while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Develop and train store managers to build bench strength and leadership pipeline.
• Create dynamic staffing and scheduling to control labor costs and coverage.
• Maintain fair and consistent performance processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with wage, hour, and equal employment opportunity regulations.
• Uphold a welcoming and organized store environment for customers.
• Manage candidate reviews, onboarding, and ongoing employee development.
• Support data entry, ordering, and administrative tasks to enable store operations.
• Oversee merchandise productivity and loss prevention strategies.
