Job summary

Idaho Youth Ranch is seeking a Thrift Store Associate in Idaho to support our mission by delivering friendly customer service and handling store operations. You will engage with customers, process sales, and help stock donated items in a fast-paced thrift environment.

Representing a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, you will play a key role in funding our programs through retail activities while adhering to policies and providing a welcoming shopping experience. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch in the thrift store and interact with customers to support a positive shopping experience.
• Operate cash registers and credit/debit processing equipment.
• Sort, clean, price, and stock donated merchandise.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates and other loading/moving equipment.

As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.
