Job summary

Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus seeks a compassionate caregiver for the J5-2 Thoracic Surgery Stepdown Unit. You will assist with patient care under an RN, monitor vital signs, and help with activities of daily living and transfers in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.

Weekend and holiday rotation is required. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification; military healthcare experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required or obtained during new hire period.
• Military healthcare experience considered (HM, Combat Medic, 4N0X1).
• BLS certification via AHA or Red Cross required or obtained during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision; vitals, ADLs, transfers.
• Report abnormal findings to RN promptly.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
