Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland, OH is hiring a Patient Care Nurse Assistant for the J6-2 Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit to support post-surgical patients during nights 7:00pm–7:30am. You will work with an RN to monitor vital signs, assist with personal care, and ensure a clean, healing environment.

This role offers growth through education and skills development, with weekend and holiday rotations. High School diploma or GED and BLS required; STNA preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS Certification through AHA or American Red Cross during or after the new hire period.
• Military experience as Hospital Corpsman/Combat Medic/Medical Service Technician considered.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and weight; assist with personal care.
• Assist with patient care under RN supervision and report changes to RN.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly; help with external monitoring devices and Foley catheter care.
