Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist. You will gain hands-on experience in a CVS Health store, supporting pharmacy operations, patient care, and immunizations where allowed by state law.

You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs, SOPs, and mentorship to prepare for increased responsibility as a pharmacist in the future.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Completion of a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on key learning experiences (KLEs) and activities.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and caring in all patient interactions and follow SOPs to protect patient privacy and safety.
• Provide immunization support and other services where allowed by state regulation, under supervision.
• Attend required trainings, maintain attendance, and participate in ongoing mentoring and coaching.
