Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning from pharmacy school in real-world practice within our store pharmacy teams. You will gain insight into store, district, and regional operations while developing toward a Pharmacist role.

Under the guidance of a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, complete KLEs, and support safe and accurate prescription processing, patient care, and immunization services where permitted.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs and hands-on pharmacy operations.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Learn to counsel patients, handle telephonic prescriptions, and support immunization services where allowed.
