Job summary

Griffith Foods is seeking a Mixing Operator to join our production team in Alsip, Illinois, on the third shift. You will operate, set up, and troubleshoot mixing equipment in compliance with GMP, HACCP, and Griffith Production System standards.

Responsibilities include material weighing, adding raw materials per the formula, and discharging blended product while meeting sampling and documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX or RedZone.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and load mixing equipment.
• Verify counts of raw materials and add them as per the formula.
• Discharge blended product and ensure proper screen size.
• Record production, quality and performance on the daily schedule.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work area; dispose of waste.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
