Job summary

Griffith Foods International Inc. seeks a Mixing Operator for the third shift at the Alsip, Illinois site.

The role runs Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, with an hourly rate of $23.18 plus a 10% shift differential, and potential earnings stepping up after 6, 12, or 24 months. The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, English proficiency, basic math, ERP experience, overtime readiness, and the ability to work around allergens and chemicals.

Qualifications

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Proficient reading, writing and speaking English.
Basic math skills for unit conversions and calculations.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX or RedZone).
Willing to work overtime, including Saturdays.
Ability to stand and move for long periods; comfortable around allergens and chemicals.

Responsibilities

Safely operate and load mixing equipment.
Set up and troubleshoot production equipment in accordance with GMP, HACCP, and Griffith Production System.
Verify and ensure accurate counts of raw materials needed to produce a blended product.
Add raw materials to the blender following the manufacturing sequence on the formula.
Discharge blended product from the blender using the prescribed screen size.
Follow specified customer sampling requirements of blended product.
Fill out daily schedule control to document production, quality, and performance.
Clean and sanitize the production equipment, tools, and work area.
Dispose of trash and garbage containers.
Support BRC audit requirements, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and legal standards.
