Job summary

Griffith Foods Limited is hiring a Mixing Operator to join our production team in Alsip, Illinois. You will load and operate mixing equipment, verify raw material counts, and follow the manufacturing sequence to produce blended products while complying with GMP and HACCP guidelines.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, English fluency, and ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics AX or RedZone). Onsite work, first shift, with progressive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX or RedZone).
• Attention to safety and quality procedures (GMP, HACCP, BRC).

Responsibilities

• Operate and load mixing equipment safely.
• Verify counts of raw materials and follow the formula sequence.
• Add materials to the blender per manufacturing steps.
• Discharge blended product and ensure proper screen size.
• Complete daily production scheduling and documentation.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work area; dispose waste properly.
• Support BRC audit requirements and safety standards.
