Job summary

The Third Cook position at HMSHost/Avolta at the Atlanta Airport location requires preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of dishes across stations. You will ensure quality and communicate any issues to management while delivering exceptional service to customers and team members.

This non-exempt role reports to the Manager or Operations Director and demands endurance, teamwork, and adherence to food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years culinary experience; high-volume casual dining preferred.
• Intro level food knowledge.
• Basic knife cutting skills.
• Fundamentals of dry and moist cooking methods.
• Food preparation skills and HACCP knowledge.
• Working knowledge of kitchen equipment (grill, fryer, oven, slicer).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, cook, and present food items per recipes.
• Coordinate output with other cooks to meet production needs.
• Maintain food safety and HACCP compliance.
• Communicate potential problems to management and provide high service.
• Produce high-quality products and rotate through stations as needed.
