Job summary

Foley Equipment offers the Caterpillar ThinkBIG internship, starting June 2027, combining classroom study with shop-based learning. Interns will earn over 2,000 hours of hands-on experience and graduate with an Associate of Applied Science degree through partner institutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude and aptitude testing may be required.
• Dependability with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to participate in Caterpillar curriculum and ThinkBIG program.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Foley's culture - prioritizing safety above all else.
• Work closely with mentors to learn shop procedures and safety requirements.
• Attend school and maintain minimum program grades and stay in good standing with the ThinkBIG program.
• Complete and submit all required assignments, including internship tasks.
• Occasionally travel for training or to assist at other Foley locations.
