Interns rotate between ThinkBIG school and Foley locations across Kansas and Missouri, typically 7–8 weeks per rotation, with housing arrangements and ongoing mentorship to build practical, safety‑minded skills in Caterpillar equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and curiosity to learn Caterpillar equipment.
• Demonstrated dependability and punctuality in school and work settings.
• Willingness to participate in a two-year ThinkBIG program with rotations.
• Comfort with traveling for training when required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Foley's safety culture and procedures.
• Work closely with mentors to learn shop fundamentals, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Attend ThinkBIG school and Foley rotations, maintaining program grades and good standing.
• Complete and submit all assignments related to the internship.
• Travel temporarily to other Foley locations or for training as needed.
