Job summary

RTP Company, headquartered in Winona, Minnesota, is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and run thermoplastic extrusion equipment to blend, mix, package and transport materials for customer products.

This role requires following ISO standards and safety rules, performing line changes, monitoring quality, and documenting logs and data. The work schedule is the 1st shift, 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment and follow standardized procedures.
• Must be able to operate/monitor extrusion machinery safely.
• Ability to read and follow manuals and procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs regularly and stand for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and operate extrusion equipment to mix, extrude, discharge, or handle materials per procedures.
• Weigh ingredients and ensure correct delivery to the work area; load pre-blended materials as needed.
• Monitor production and equipment for safe, efficient operation; troubleshoot issues.
• Complete required data inputs, logs, and reports; ensure data integrity.
