Job summary

RTP Company, headquartered in Winona, Minnesota, is a global compounder of custom engineered thermoplastics. The role involves setting up and operating extrusion equipment to blend, mix, package, and transport materials to produce customer products.

This 2nd shift position runs 3-11pm Monday–Friday with overtime, and training on the 1st shift is provided for two weeks. The company emphasizes safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Must be able to operate/monitor extrusion equipment safely and according to procedures.
Read and follow manuals and procedures to ensure quality production.
Lift up to 60 lbs regularly and stand for an 8-hour shift.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace and adhere to safety protocols.
Must be able to pass forklift and respirator fit tests.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

Set up, start, and operate machinery to mix, extrude, discharge, or handle materials according to operating procedures.
Weigh ingredients and ensure correct delivery to the work area.
Monitor production and equipment for safe, efficient operation.
Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.
Document logs, data reports, and procedures.
