Job summary

RTP Company seeks an extrusion operator to set up and run thermoplastic extrusion equipment for blending, packaging, and transporting materials. You will monitor production, weigh ingredients, and ensure quality while complying with safety and ISO standards.

The role requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 60 lbs, stand for long shifts, and perform data entry. On-site, 2nd shift with potential overtime and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Prefers a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read manuals and operate machinery safely.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Forklift experience is a plus and manufacturing background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extrusion equipment per procedures.
• Monitor process, ensure continuous material flow and quality.
• Weigh ingredients and feed into machinery as required.
• Perform routine cleaning and record data accurately.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with leads for issues.
• Follow safety rules and ISO standards at all times.
