Job summary

Amcor LLC in Fremont, Ohio is hiring a Thermoforming Operator to run thermoforming equipment, support a small production team, and help maintain safe, efficient, high-quality production. You’ll monitor performance, complete quality checks, assist with changeovers, maintain production records, and train teammates while following safety and GMP guidelines.

The role requires endurance for 12.25‑hour shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs; night shift gets a $0.50/hour premium.

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and support a production team.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate thermoforming machines and monitor production performance.
• Lead and coordinate Assistants and Packers to meet daily production goals.
• Complete product quality checks and inspections.
• Support machine changeovers and help minimize downtime.
• Maintain production records, machine boards, audits, and check sheets.
• Train and coach team members as needed.
• Follow all safety, quality, GMP, and food-safety requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and Kaizen activities
