Job summary

Amcor is hiring a Thermoforming Assistant in Fremont, OH. You will support machine operators, learn packaging equipment, and contribute to daily production on a 12-hour schedule (days or nights).

You will help with setup, load materials, monitor lines, inspect finished products, document production and report issues, while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment. • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow work instructions and production schedules.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a hot environment.

Location: Fremont, OH

Pay: $21.01-$25.42/hour + $0.50/hour night shift premium

Schedule: 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule (days or nights) | Day shift: 6:55 a.m.–7:10 p.m. | Night shift: 6:55 p.m.–7:10 a.m.

What You’ll Do

• Assist machine operators with equipment setup, operation, and monitoring
• Load raw materials and help keep production running smoothly
• Inspect finished products for quality
• Support machine changeovers, roll splices, and minor adjustments
• Complete production documentation and report equipment or quality issues
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
• Follow safety, GMP, food-safety, and operating procedures
• Build hands-on skills that can support continued growth in machine operation
