Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Thermoforming Operator to operate thermoforming machines, lead a small production team, and ensure safety, quality and efficiency on shift. You will monitor processes, perform QA checks, manage changeovers, and coach team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to Amcor's safety standards.

This role features a 12-hour night shift (2-2-3) with overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, a 401(k) match, and tuition

Qualifications

  • Operate thermoforming machines to produce finished goods
  • Lead and coordinate a small production team
  • Monitor downtime and optimize changeovers
  • Conduct QA testing and inspections to ensure specs
  • Maintain boards, audits and check sheets
  • Provide breaks and lunches for the team
  • Coach and train production staff
  • Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement
  • Follow safety, quality and food safety standards

Join Amcor as a Thermoforming Operator and help produce high-quality finished goods safely and efficiently. You will operate thermoforming equipment, lead a small production team, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards. Your role directly impacts productivity, product quality, and operational excellence.

Schedule

Shift: 12-hour 2-2-3 night shift (6:55 p.m. - 7:10 a.m.)

  • Pay: $21.49-$26.76/hour + $0.50/night shift premium
  • Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for 12.25-hour shifts
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments
  • Push, pull, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs.
