Job summary

Invenergy, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer, Thermal, to support geothermal and thermal power generation projects across North America. You will manage design, permits, procurement, and commissioning, coordinating with engineers, geophysicists, vendors, and contractors to meet schedule and budget.

Qualifications include a BS in engineering, 2+ years in large capital project engineering, and strong Excel modeling. Travel up to 25% and a valid US driving license are required.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical, electrical, civil, petroleum, chemical or related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years in project engineering management of large capital projects with a geothermal or thermal focus.
• Familiarity with regulatory, siting, and environmental permitting for large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review basic and detail design for power generation projects.
• Advise on feasibility of projects based on geothermal tech and constraints.
• Lead technical efforts during development and collaborate on reservoir modelling and detailed design.
• Review thermal heat balances and project design documents.
• Interface with vendors and contractors to ensure technical alignment.
